A real post
I'm going to try to write something other than a simple link, just because I haven't done it for a while. I haven't had a lot of comment on technology, culture, books, etc, recently because most of my blogging has focused on Pennsylvania high school football, most notably North Penn football. You can read my thoughts on Scoreless Tie and Hurrican Blog (which I think was supposed to be about the Bethlehem Liberty Hurricans more than the North Penn Knights).
As I'm writing this, the Phillies are going into the 9th inning, leading the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2. A good sign.
Last week I finished reading Mage-Guard of Hamor by L.E. Modesitt. I've enjoyed reading all of the books in Modesitt's Recluce Saga, but I think that Mage-Guard and Natural Ordermage are the best so far.
I will offer a classic amusing cultural link: The Viagra Prank (or as I like to call it, Viagra in church). The Phillies are still at bat in the 9th inning in game 1 of the 2008 World Series. Oh, well, you will know what happened by the time you read this.

Survive a Zombie Apocalypse - Wired How-To Wiki
Survive a Zombie Apocalypse - Wired How-To Wiki Gotta love those zombies. It still blows my mind that Max Brooks is Mel's son. Can you imagine the conversation when the Stillers and the Brooks' get together, "You know our son Ben has been in some of the top grossing comedy movies of the last then years?" "Sure, but Max writes incredible books about zombies. They even optioned World War Z..."
